Mary Harper Moses Durrant

Mary Harper Moses Durrant 1904 ~ 2008 Passed away Feb. 1, 2008 at her home in Salt Lake City, at age 103.She was born August 3, 1904 to Jesse Tilten, Moses Jr. And Lavina Harper Moses. She married Earl Durrant, March 30, 1927 in the Salt Lake Temple. Earl died in 1967. Mary was active in the L.D.S. Church, teaching in primary, relief society, and Sunday school. She loved being with her children and grandchildren. She upholstered furniture, made many beautiful quilts and worked in the foster grandparent program until age 96. She is survived by four sons: Norman (Edna), Ronald (Annie Mae), Wilford (Carol) and Jerry Durrant. One daughter, Joyce (John) Steed. Two sisters, Lavina Jacobs and Leone Jorgensen and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Earl, baby daughter, Mary Jane, her parents, two brothers and four sisters. Viewing will be Wednesday, February 6 at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive in Holiday. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, February 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., prior to the funeral service at Hyland Lake Ward 981 Revere Circle at 11 a.m. Burial in Franklin City Cemetery. Franklin Idaho.
